World has nine years to avert climate disaster study shows - WA Post
I bet nine years from now they say the same again. I think maybe it's been too late to avert disaster. I think they should start saying x number of years to avert an even worse disaster.

So I asked in Indonesian if that's an Indonesian word and she looked at her Google translate and I asked what is it in Indonesian and she said "tanga. Oh - not stairs. Ladder. Stairs are part of the building. A ladder you can move. You want to borrow our ladder. Indonesian uses the same word for both. Now before I give you our ladder could you remind me what it's for. I remember being at the Trissur Pooram in Kerala in 2011 with many decorated elephants and riders (Google it) and the 3rd day at the impressive finale with maybe 30 elephants, in a crowd of what was said to be over a million, I focused on getting to the outside of the crowd and then to a place where I couldn't get crushed. It was to me an obvious thing to do. No one got hurt. It was so impressive.
