Oh gosh. It's been a month. Apologies. Trying to finish a book. Dogette Bandi and I walked to the beach today. First time in a couple of weeks. I went swimming and she, as usual, waded in the water looking for anything that moves that she can eat or attack. Afterwards went to the shack where locals tend to go. Took an orange juice out of the ice chest. That's the 4th. One more then I give them an advance again. Couple of local women at a table in the sand looking at Bandi. One asked what her name was - in Indonesian which has gender neutral pronouns. "Bandi," the woman who runs the stand said. "It's short for Bandit," I added. The woman laughed and said in English, "She stole my heart."
